Mrs. Georgia America 2012

Meghan Hodges assumed the title of Mrs. Georgia-America on February 4th, 2012 after competition at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center in Roswell, Georgia, where she competed with other accomplished married women from across the state of Georgia. Meghan also won the Mrs. Photogenic award.

Meghan is a true Georgia native, having spent her entire life in Georgia. After earning her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia, she began work at McKesson, a Fortune 14 healthcare company. Her current work includes executive talent development and thought leadership. In her free time, she enjoys freelance work as a web designer, writing, rock climbing and CrossFit.
Throughout her reign this year, Meghan’s primary focus is awareness and fundraising for cancer research. Her primary partnerships in the community include Bert’s Big Adventure, Sheltering Arms Atlanta, the McKesson Foundation, the Atlanta Lymphomathon 5K, and AWARE. The opportunity to be Mrs. Georgia this year is all about using the crown to expand her voice and her reach into the community.
Meghan and her husband Mathew live in Roswell, GA with their children: 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a blue-tongue skink. Mathew is a network optimization coordinator with CBeyond.
